Within June, there were 18 recorded deaths and more than 2,690 cases of dengue fever reported in Myanmar. The Yangon, Tanintharyi, Ayeyarwaddy and Mon regions were among the highest for reported number of dengue fever infections with a combined number of more than 1,800.
